Relyence FMECA

FMECA, or Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis, is an organized approach used to identify and evaluate the potential failures of a product, the resulting effects and possible causes of those failure modes, and ultimately eliminate, reduce, or mitigate the failures deemed most critical.

The following topics provide details about FMECAs in Relyence:

  • Elements of FMECA - describes the elements of a FMECA - FMECA Worksheet as well as a useful feature for FMECA, the FMD Modes Library.
  • Performing a FMECA - provides a step-by-step guide of how to perform a FMECA in Relyence FMEA.

Note: By default, FMECA is not enabled by default in all Analyses. If you have an Analysis where you do not have the FMECA option in the Sidebar, see the Adding a FMECA Worksheet to an Analysis section in the Performing a FMECA topic.
