Using the New Characteristic Dialog

On the PFMEA Worksheet, you may include the PFMEA Process Characteristic field for Causes.

For this field, you can search and/or select from a list of available choices, if applicable, or use the Add feature to add process characteristic data.

Click  the Control Selector button at the right of the field.

The Process Characteristics dialog appears.

You can use the Search function at the top of the dialog to find Process Characteristics of interest.

Once you identify a Process Characteristic to add to your worksheet, just click the checkmark for the record and click OK.

If you choose the Add option, the New Characteristic dialog appears.

Enter the Characteristic and click OK.

The new data is added to the field and is available from the choicelist for future data entry.
